PROJECT SUMMARY

Completed in 1932, the Louisiana State Capitol building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as a National Historic Landmark. Cangelosi Ward General Contractors has contracted with Stone & Lime to perform the historic masonry restoration. The project consists of two primary work areas, Senate and the House of Representatives; both on the North elevation of the building. Stone & Lime will complete the honing, repair and resetting of nearly 100 stones at locations identified as having deteriorating conditions
