PROJECT SUMMARY

Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services was contracted to assist with the stabilization of this 460 foot historic limestone structure. The scope of work included: the removal and replacement of numerous 6’ x 12’ damaged limestone façade stones, as necessary, to allow for structural inspections; spot pointing of the façade from ground level to the 22nd floor; and, prime and prep structural steel prior to the installation of new limestone panels. The main plaza of the building was also removed, cataloged and reconstructed, as needed.

Because of the successful collaboration with the owner, Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services was also brought in to consult with the design team for the next phase of façade repairs.
