PROJECT SUMMARY
Stone & Lime Historic Restoration Services was subcontracted by Dellbrook / JKS for the historic Wellesley College – Tower Court complex, a U-shaped dormitory at Wellesley College built in 1915 on College Hall Hill.
The scope of work for Phase I of this project, included extensive brick & stone repointing, stone repair/patching/pinning, brick repointing, brick replacement, installation of Lead “T” joints, replacement of cast stone units and heavy masonry cleaning. Interior work includes repointing of Great Hall Fireplace, cast stone column cleaning, installation of caulking, cast stone window tracery cleaning and a final washdown.
Stone & Lime is currently in the process of mobilizing for the Phase II work which will be completed by the end of this Summer to facilitate the occupancy of the newly renovated dormitories.
